Does Alendronate Affect PTOA?

Our recent article published in Arthritis Research & Therapy examines this question. We used our mouse model of PTOA that relies on ACL-rupture to create a joint injury, and examined changes in subchondral bone, osteophyte formation, cartilage degradation using the OARSI score, and serum markers of bone turnover.
