Today we were trained on the new TekScan StrideWay. The instrument was installed at the UC Davis Equine Athletic Performance Laboratory. Today’s example test animal was a very well-behaved sheepdog. We will soon be testing sheep for our post-traumatic osteoarthritis intervention study. This study is sponsored by CDMRP, and will allow us to test whether administering therapeutic to an injured knee joint right after it is injured will benefit the joint.
